Description
I’m Lookin’ Good is an original Aroostook River Illustration featuring an animal tooth admiring itself in a real dental mouth mirror.
This piece began with an animal tooth from a skull I found along the Aroostook River. I gave the tooth a personality through gouache and ink, then added the found tooth and dental mirror to bring the scene into three dimensions. The animal species has not been confirmed. The result is an unusual mix of nature, humor, and dentistry.
The artwork is matted and presented in a gray wood frame with an 8 × 8 inch viewing area under glass.
