Description
Blue Chickens & The Yellow Coop is an original Aroostook River Illustration featuring two cobalt blue river glass chickens beside a yellow coop.
I drew the yellow coop by hand, then added two pieces of cobalt blue glass I personally found along the Aroostook River in Caribou, Maine. Their natural shapes became the chickens, turning river finds into a small story of northern Maine whimsy.
The artwork is matted to a 5 × 5 inch opening and presented in a 10 × 10 inch white wood frame with an 8 × 8 inch viewing area under glass.
