Description
The Empty Chair is an original Aroostook River Illustration featuring an empty chair beside a quiet lake and river glass trees.
I created the lakeside scene in gouache and ink, then added three pieces of green Aroostook River glass for the birch tree tops and another for the campfire flame. A small river pebble becomes a bird. The empty chair faces the water, inviting a moment of stillness and reflection.
The approximately 5 × 5 inch artwork is matted and presented in an 8 × 8 inch white wood frame with a glass panel, suitable for hanging or tabletop display.
