Description
Family & Love is an original family stone sculpture handmade from eight natural stones collected from the Aroostook River in Caribou, Maine. Three stone figures stand together behind a naturally heart shaped river stone, creating a simple and meaningful representation of family, connection, and love.
Each stone was selected for its natural shape, color, and character. The individual pieces are carefully drilled, internally reinforced with steel pins, and securely bonded to create a lasting freestanding sculpture. The natural surfaces of the river stones are left visible so their texture and markings remain part of the finished artwork.
The sculpture is finished with a UV resistant matte protective coating and includes a Riverbed Art provenance card documenting its Aroostook River origin and handmade construction.
Because every stone was naturally shaped by the river, Family & Love is completely one of a kind and cannot be duplicated exactly.
