Description

Lake Life is a one of a kind woodburned sign made from Aroostook River driftwood.

I burned the Lake Life design by hand, shaping the K as a fly-fishing fly. The wood is a weathered 19th-century roof shingle found in the Aroostook River in Caribou, Maine. A matte UV-protective finish helps protect the artwork, while natural cotton rope makes it ready to hang. I signed the back with its Riverbed Art and Aroostook River origins.
