Description

My Daughter, My Heart is a one of a kind Aroostook River stone sculpture celebrating the bond between mother and daughter.

I made the piece from six natural river stones collected in Caribou, Maine. The smaller daughter figure rests above a naturally shaped heart beside her mother. I drilled the stones, joined them with internal steel nails cut to length and JB Weld, and applied a protective coating. Their earthy colors, individual markings, and natural shapes remain part of the finished artwork.
