Description
Pumpkin Patch Love is a one of a kind river stone sculpture featuring a white ghost holding a red heart beside an orange pumpkin.
I made this piece from five Aroostook River stones collected in Caribou, Maine. I drilled and reinforced the stones with steel nails cut to length and bonded them with JB Weld. Acrylic paint brings the ghost, heart, and pumpkin to life, while the base and pumpkin stem retain their natural character. A protective matte finish completes this piece from my Boo’s from Bou collection.

Watch how my river stone sculptures come together
From choosing the river stones to pinning, assembling and finishing, these videos show how I make my stone sculptures. Each piece takes about five days to come together, with much of that time spent waiting for adhesives, paint and finishes.
