Description

Elephant Love is a one of a kind birch slice ornament featuring a baby elephant painting the night sky.

I made the ornament from birch sourced on our land in Caribou, Maine. I woodburned the illustration, painted it in gouache, and applied Krylon UV Waterproof Spray in a matte finish. A ribbon makes it ready to hang, and the back is signed Riverbed Art ’25. Its natural wood grain and shape are part of the finished piece.
