Introduction
Each week brings new lessons, challenges, and moments of inspiration. This past week, we made significant decisions, embraced change, and continued to refine the experience for our collectors. As we enter our third year, we are reminded that growth (much like the fiddleheads along the riverbank) is a process of unfolding, learning, and thriving. The journey reflects the essence of Riverbed Art Growth and Adaptation.
Saying Goodbye to Printify
One of the biggest changes we made was moving away from Printify. While the idea of offering printed products was appealing, we found it wasn’t the best fit for our business. As a handmade-focused brand, we value having full control over the quality of what we offer. With Printify, we couldn’t oversee production. Shipping costs often outweighed the product price, making it difficult to provide customers with both affordability and quality assurance. After much consideration, we decided to shift toward in-house printing to better align with our mission.
Certificates of Authenticity for Every Piece
To further emphasize the uniqueness of Riverbed Art, we are introducing Certificates of Authenticity (COA) with each piece. Each COA certifies that the artwork is an original, hand-drawn illustration. Every piece in the Aroostook River Illustrations collection is crafted using watercolor and gouache- incorporating handpicked beach glass and pebbles from the Aroostook River in Caribou, Maine. No two pieces are alike, ensuring the uniqueness and authenticity of every artwork. These certificates will certify that the artwork is an original creation by Riverbed Art. For original works, the COA confirms the use of handpicked materials such as beach glass, pebbles, and driftwood from the Aroostook River. For limited prints, the COA verifies that the print is a faithful reproduction of an original Riverbed Art piece, printed using high-quality archival materials. Additionally, the COA ensures that the piece you receive was authentically created by Riverbed Art and is not a replication of other works. The COAs will be included with all original works of art and limited prints. We will continue to use our stamp for high production prints.
Investing in True Quality: The Epson SC-900
With Printify behind us, we invested in an Epson SureColor P900 This high-end professional printer allows us to create stunning archival prints in-house, ensuring the same attention to detail and craftsmanship that goes into every Riverbed Art piece. The pigment-based ink produces vivid, museum-quality prints, allowing us to control the entire process—from creation to final product.

Lessons in Growth
This past week has been a testament to the beauty of adaptation</strong>. Letting go of what doesn’t serve us, investing in what truly matters, and always striving for improvement—these are the lessons that shape Riverbed Art. Change is never without its challenges, but when approached with care and intention, it leads to something even better.
As we celebrate three years of Riverbed Art, we remain committed to growth, quality, and staying true to what we love. Here’s to another year of creating, learning, and evolving in new and exciting ways.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Your support makes all of this possible, and we can’t wait to share what’s next!
